I was wondering.......

....what refills you use?
Factory soundbank i guess....aaaand.....orkester?

Well, those are the soundbanks that comes with the program. I usually use the reason soundfactory soundbank alot, but I allmost allways make "my own sound" out of existing samples (tweaking them in one way or another...). It´s more fun if u make stuf "on your own", even though the original samples aren´t your own.

It was a nice song, i like the intro alot...

You really got the effects in place but you should work on making the melodies more...ehhm...harmonic. You know what i mean?
It might just be me but i think that for example a Ab chord sounds bad after a Dm...in stead of the Ab id rather a Bb...you know?

Actually, no, I don´t know... I have no deeper knowledge in what "sounds good", I make stuff that I think sounds good. I´ll have to check out how those chords sound that u mention, but seriously, I´m never gonna make stuff "by the book" in that kind of way, if u know what I mean. Music taste divides people all the time, it might sound bad to you, but good to another person. I worked a whole lot with effects, fades, beats n stuff like that. This is a song that probably requires lots of listening, if you want to hear everything that´s going on. Glad U liked the intro, though, it´s a little special. That´s what capture the interest of the listener, ya know :D

The main 2 lead parts use his synths. (the tweaking of the cut/res/ect are his)

It could maybe be a goodt idea practicing some more before recording a play like that...you did'nt hold the rythm the hole way through...

It you fixed the rythm thingy i think it could be a cool enough song, but right now the only thing it can be used as in a flash movie is a gou sitting playing drums like crap...

Thanks for the feedback. I have to take this off, cuz this was really taken 3 years ago, before I studied Jazz patterns off of Louie Belson, Carter Beauford, and McCobb. I had no idea how this got into the portal! Dang it! Probably got some of my idiot friends to do it. I'll probably upload a better file tomorrow. Thanks for your input so much, I really appreciate it! P.S I'm currently in my 7th year of drumming and during this recording, i don't even think it's me! Pretty nice...

Overall the song was pretty good....

I think you should have put more attack time on the background pads....but of course thats just i oppinion....the drums where pretty cool....

I also think it misses a bass....i know theres 1 bass already but i dont fill much and it did'nt last the hole song...

But anyway this is a goood song..!
